ACLE FUNDRAISERS

MAY DAY
Sunday 4th May, 2008
The second event to celebrate May Day being organised by the volunteers from the village in order to raise funds for a village charity. Activities that everyone from the village can join in --- craft stalls, stalls from all village groups/organisations, childrens magic show, competition to enter, activities etc; ADULTS - LIVE music by a variety of bands, Morris Dancing, Line Dancing display. FOOD - variety of food including wraps, curry stand, hot and cold drinks, sweets and yummy cakes and much more. The event opens at 11.00am and will conclude at 4.00pm. Entry is FREE and free parking nearby.

Stallholders --- as of 27 April, we cannot accept any further stalls due to such a HUGE demand!!! Our apologies - we are seeking a bigger site for next year!!!!

ACLE BEER AND MUSIC FESTIVAL
Saturday 19th July, 2008
Being held in Acle, The Rectory Gardens. This will be the second event, after a massive sell out last year, bringing fresh food, live music and volunteers manning various stands, something for everyone. Come along and have a dance or taste the variety of local ales - tickets are on sale NOW from the Acle Post Office. Headlining band is RIVERS. Tickets are for entry ONLY - food not included this year as we are having a variety of locally produced food for sale on the night at very reasonable prices. Plus there will be softdrinks, tea and coffee for sale all evening. For those not into real ales, white and red wine and cider is available for purchase. PLEASE NOTE -- THIS EVENT HAS TOTALLY SOLD OUT AS OF 16TH JUNE - NO TICKETS AVAILABLE

LADIES NIGHT
Saturday 13th September, 2008
This is the event of the year you do not wish to miss - Ladies Only Night Saturday September 13th - theme "Caribbean Night" - come along and listen to a local "live" steel band, entertainers, competitions (limbo dancing), ending in a disco. Please ladies, dress to the occasion - hats, flower shirts, let your imagination run wild!!! Doors open 8.00pm and ends at midnight. Acle Recreational Centre. Entry by pre-purchase tickets ONLY (no tickets available at the door) - tickets available from Acle Post Office and will go on sale August.

Profits in support of a Womens Refuge at Great Yarmouth.
