  15th ACLE HIGH SCHOOL - Young Leaders - PROJECT KENYA - CHURCH HALL OPPOSITE BUDGENS, 10am - 12pm) - coffee morning with good quality second hand goods and cake sale in aid of this project. Raffle and stalls.
  17th St Edmund's Church Light Hearted Quiz plus Cheese and Wine
  20th Broadland D.C. - Relax, take time out, have fun and improve your fitness. No dance experience is necessary. Tuesdays, 3pm – 4pm. Refreshments until 4:30pm. 12 weeks starting Tuesday 20th April 2010. Held at The Garage, Chapelfield, Norwich. Led by Norfolk Dance in partnership with Broadland District Council. 21st Acle High School - Explore the wonders of the universe with Mark Shepherd from the Norwich Astronomical Society. A six week course for absolute beginners at the Vocational Learning Centre, Acle High School starting Wednesday 21st April between 7-9pm. Course fee £18 and no telescope is required.

  23rd Acle Recreation Club - Come and see one of the UKs Best 60s Tribute Bands "Lou and The Diamonds" Lou himself was a top 60s session guitar player for the legendary Joe Meek who produced great hits such as "TELSTAR" Tony on bass guitar was with Adam Faith, PJ Proby and even dated Marianne Faithful for a while. The other two members Clive on drums and Nigel on lead vocals really show their own musical talent having been in some other bands. "Lou and The Diamonds" have played as a support act to many of the great original 60s bands such as The Searchers, The Fortunes, The Ivy League, Marmalade, Cliff Bennett, Jess Conrad and many others. Come and see them at ACLE, APRIL 23rd 2010. A great night of live 60s music, not to be missed!
  24th Acle War Memorial Recreation Centre, 7.00 doors open for eyes down at 7.30 Family Bingo Night, everybody welcome. Come along for an evening of fun and help raise funds for Acle St Edmund Primary School. 2010 sees the 40th anniversary of Acle Primary School PTA, now known as FOSA (Friends of the School Association). This is one of a number of events that will celebrate the work of the association!

May 1st Acle Recreational Centre - Car Boot Sale, Main Hall, 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon. Hall will be open at 9.00 a.m. for table set up. The Recreation Centre will supply ALL tables and they will be £3.00 per table, which must be pre-booked. Contact is Jodie (or the office at the Recreation Centre). Anyone turning up on the day wishing to have a table will be charged £4.00 per table (subject to space available!). Refreshments will be available from the kitchen in the Main Hall.

29th and 30th St Edmund's Church Flower Festival - As part of the Festival, at 7pm the Acle Community Choir will be performing. Free event, all welcome at attend.

12th Methodist Church Summer Fair. Various stalls and competitions. Refreshments will be served, opens at 2pm.
12th WORLD CUP 2010 - DON'T MISS OUT ON THE WORLD CUP ACTION! Enjoy the footie, a drink and a barbeque with your mates in front of the biggest screen you have ever seen! Acle High School will be showing the first England match on Sat June 12th, the final on Sun 11th July and any quarter and semi finals that England might reach on its HUGE 4x3 metre screen.
