Every Tuesday in term time YOGA - yes, it is available here in the village, on a Tuesday evening, Parish Hall, 7 - 8.00pm - come along and really enjoy yourself. A very friendly group welcomes both those new to yoga or those who have tried it before and would like to continue this wonderful form of exercise. 1st Acle Library -- Easter Fairy Fair. 10.30am - 11.30am. Pop in for some fairy stories, fairy activities and fairy fun for all the family. Fancy dress optional. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
6th NCC Health Walks - meet in the Acle Rec Club carpark - walk commences 1.30pm - 2.1 miles (arrive early to register).
22nd Herondale - coffee morning starting at 10.00am - Cakes ~ Raffle ~ Bric-a-Brac ~ Tombola ~ Books ~ Clothes -- A variety of refreshments will be available -- all made very welcome
25th Come and experience a NEW form of relaxation: Sound Baths are being held at Upton Village Hall on Friday evenings, 25th April, 30th May and 27th June. Bring some cushions, a blanket, a foam mat or similar so you can lie on the floor while you're being 'bathed in sound' Admission £7. Get rid of the stress of the week and head into the weekend feeling refreshed. All welcome. Contact Corinne Bryant corinne.bryant@tiscali.co.uk for further information
25th Acle High School Rock On Night - 7.30-8pm until midnight -- featuring Galaxie and 9 Out of 10 Cats -- pay at the door (adults £4, students £2) or order your tickets by calling 750772. Take your drinks and own nibbles for the night and all made very welcome
26th Acle Pre-school - Bingo night - at Acle Recreation Centre 7.30pm, chocolates, wine and hampers for prizes - all welcome - pay on the night -- all made very welcome

Trudy Kemp has been teaching matwork Pilates for over 2 years and have various classes around the Norwich area. 4th May Day Festival
Bridewell Lane, 11.00am - 4.00pm - bands play from noon, all local/village stalls, games, tea, coffee, yummy cakes, hog roast, tipples beer and much more. Maypole dancing, line dancer display, Acle High school entertainment, school band, Acle High School demonstation. FREE entry with ALL funds raised going to village charity.
10th St Edmund's Church - Concert Series - 7.30pm Top Brass - Jan Hytch and Simon Finch (Trumpets), Ann Smith (Horn), Len Bacon (Trombone), Mark Peck (Tuba). A not to be missed programme of old and new brass ensemble classics. Each concert lasts about 90 minutes with refreshments served either at the interval or at the end of each concert. Admission by programme costs £5 with concessions for children and family groups. Apart from expenses all the money raised goes towards the upkeep of the Church. 10th Acle High School, Dr Victor Morgan, School of History, UEA, looking at Christopher Saxton's survey, the maps he produced and the way that the image of the map worked its way into painting and other art-forms, 7pm, free entry event.

14th Acle Methodist Church Summer Fete, 2.00pm
16th Acle High School, Archaeology - An Introduction to Practical Archaeology. A five-week course focusing on the practical skills of the modern Archaeologist and featuring the study of famous excavations and ideas of dating and typology. There will also be the opportunity to take part on a community dig at the end of the course. 7 p.m.
22nd St Edmund's Church - Concert Series - starting at 3.00pm with cream teas served in the Rectory Garden. 4.00pm Vaughan Williams 50th Anniversary Concert - musicians from Norfolk and Germany celebrate the music of the great English composer who died on August 26th 50 years ago. Each concert lasts about 90 minutes with refreshments served either at the interval or at the end of each concert. Admission by programme costs £5 with concessions for children and family groups. 4th The Friends of Acle Primary School are holding their annual Grand Fete & BBQ. There will be a bar, bbq, auction, raffle and many stalls for all the family to enjoy. Admission 25p, Children under 5 free.
4th St Edmund's Church - Concert Series - 7.30pm Acle Primary and High School Pupils in Concert directed by Elaine Browne and Ian Shepherd - an evening of individual and collective musical talent presented by pupils from our schools here in Acle. Prepare to be amazed by the breath and depth of skills displayed. Each concert lasts about 90 minutes with refreshments served either at the interval or at the end of each concert. Admission by programme costs £5 with concessions for children and family groups. 19th 2nd Acle Beer and Music Festival
- after such a success last year, this event will feature again live local bands playing from 4pm-11pm, food vendors onsite with a variety of hot and cold selections (curry stall, hog roast, etc), wine, cider, soft drins along with tea and coffee, and most important, 8 local ales. Venue - The Rectory Gardens, Acle! Tickets go on sale April so be quick as all tickets sold out early last year. Tickets only available at Acle Post Office. ** Please note** ID will be required. No alcohol to be brought into event and no dogs (except guide dogs). Profits are being donated to Church Funds, Acle Tuesday Youth Club, Great Yarmouth Samaritans.
26th St Edmund's Church - Garden Party, Rectory Gardens, BBQ, raffle, table tops, tea and coffee and yummy treats. 4-7pm. All welcome.

10th St Edmund's Church - Paint the Church - time to try out your skills in art - all levels welcome along to relax and paint in the gardens of the Church.
