Every Tuesday in term time YOGA - yes, it is available here in the village, on a Tuesday evening, Parish Hall, beginners class at 6pm, normal class begins 7 - 8.00pm - come along and really enjoy yourself. A very friendly group welcomes both those new to yoga or those who have tried it before and would like to continue this wonderful form of exercise. Every Monday Pilates - available here in the village, Parish Hall every Monday night from 7-8pm. Also, at the Recreation Centre, Acle, 7-8pm on a Wednesday for beginners. For more information contact Lara on 07789933292 or 01603270310.
Every Thursday morning in term time Pilates classes, Upton Village Hall, Cargate Lane. Thursday morning - the first 10.00-11.00am, the second 11.05-12.05. Trudy Kemp has been teaching matwork Pilates for over 2 years and have various classes around the Norwich area. 4th Acle High School, Free event, A MURDER HAS TAKEN PLACE AT ACLE HIGH SCHOOL, see if you can solve the crime by attending our Forensic Science Day, 11a.m. - 3p.m. Open to all ages.
10th Acle Library - Pirates Ahoy! 2.30 - 3.00. Stories, rhymes and colouring! Suitable for pre-school children. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
28th Acle Library - Get ready for Kwanzaa!! 10.30 - 11.30am. Learn about this African festival and make some Kwanzaa gifts and try some quizzes and competitions. Free refreshments. Fun for all the family. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
21st Acle Lands Trust AGM, Methodist Church meeting rooms, 7.30pm
31st Acle Pre-School and Out of Club Holloween Party/Disco - Bure Room Acle Recreation Centre, starts at 5 - 6.30 pm for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old. Games, dancing, a prize for everyone coming in costume. Followed by Out of School Club Disco which is 7 - 8.30 for children aged 6-11 (Years 1-6). Children must be accompanied, younger siblings welcome.

6th Acle Out of School Club are having a clothes collection. Any unwanted items please bring along to the club before 6th November 2008. Must be clothes only and in good condition. Tel: 07825 184318 ask for Karen for further details.
8th Amber Lodge, South Walsham Road, Acle, 10.00 - 16.00 - Crystal Light - An Introductory Crystal Workshop. During this interactive, fun day you will learn about crystals, how to choose them and how to use them for your health and well being as well as in every day situations. 12th Acle Library - Card Trading and Comic Swap Event 3.30 - 5.00 - come along and trade your Dr Who - Pokemon - Match Attax - Star Wars and more - swap your comics as well. Free entry - all ages welcome. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult
15th Acle Christmas Bazaar in aid of the Friends Of Acle School Association, 11am - 3pm. Calling all small or large business’, Acle Primary School will be holding a Christmas Bazaar this year at the Acle Recreation Centre, Bridewell Lane. We are looking for a variety of stall holders for this event, the price is £10.00 per table approx 4ft long and 2ft wide or £15.00 for 2. If you are interested please contact Belinda on 01493 751979 to make a booking.
19th Acle High School - Rob Lucking, RSPB Wash & North, Norfolk Area Manager, talk on Titchwell Marsh Coastal Change Project, 7pm, free event.
29th Acle Primary School Bingo - Acle Recreation Centre. Another great Bingo evening, lots of prizes, lots of fun. Doors Open 7pm Eyes down 7.30. All profits to Acle Primary School.

1st Acle High School - The Early History of Photography - from Camera Obscura to Kodak, a talk by Janis Austin, 7pm, free event.
6th St Edmund's Church - Christmas Fayre - Parish Hall - table top sale, variety of stalls welcome selling Christmas gifts or Christmas theme goods. Open 10am-1pm.
7th Herondale Xmas Fayre, 2pm , Raffle, Tombola, Gifts, Jewellery, Father Christmas.
9th Herondale Christmas Bingo, Eyes Down 7 .30 - Festive Prizes - All Welcome
11th Acle Churches Together - Carols around the Tree - The Green, The Street, at 7pm. Acle Society will be serving warming soup on the night. Please note at the time of writing (11/11/08) there will be NO Victorian Street Evening this year.
23th St Edmunds Church - Traditional carol service at 7pm.
24th St Edmunds Church - Crib service at 4pm; Holy Communion at 11.15pm
