If you are planning an event in Acle, please let me know by completing the Event Form (see bottom of this page). This will help others in the village by not planning another event on the same day. Details of events are supplied and are as accurate as possible. If you require further information about any of the events, please contact the person nominated.

2008 Diary of Events

December 2nd Christmas Tree Fayre, Herondale, 2pm.

3rd Acle High School - Dr Alan Kendall, University of East Anglia, "Fossil fuels - are they history?" a talk on the oil and gas industry. 7.00pm, Acle High School, free admission.

8th Acle Farmer's Market, Parish Hall, 9.00am - 1.00pm. Contact Vivienne Tuddenham, Chair Person Farmers Market Sub Committee, 01493 750131 for further details.

9th Carols by Candlelight with Stalham Brass Band, 2pm, Moulton.

12th Xmas Bingo, Herondale, 7.30pm start and all are welcome.

13th Acle Village Christmas Street Fayre, The Street, 7.00pm-9.00pm (note the main street through Acle is closed during the Fayre). Those wishing to book a table space should contact Nigel, Acle Post Office.

15th Bridge Inn and Restaurant - live band - 9/10 Cats singing from 9.00pm in the main bar - get a seat early to view this very popular Norfolk band!

16th St Edmund's Church - Christingle Service; 4pm at Beighton with St Edmund's Youth Orchestra and Traditional Carol Service, 6.30pm North Burlingham.

21st St Edmund's Church - Festive Service, 6.30pm at Acle.

21st Bridge Inn and Restaurant - come and join in the Christmas celebrations with mulled wine, mince pies and Carol Singing.

24th St Edmund's Church - Christingle and Crib Service, 4pm at Acle; Midnight Communion 11.45pm, Acle Acle
